Hi I’m Calissta! I’m a Texas girl born and raised. I started working at an independent pharmacy over 20 years ago as a cashier then pharmacy technician. As a Pharmacist, I continually refer back to all of my past experiences and connections. That intimate neighborhood environment inspired me!. It allowed me to see how valuable it was to our patients to be able to seek counsel and develop relationships with Pharmacists who were accessible and who truly cared about them (beyond just filling a pill bottle). My journey has taken me through various pharmacy settings throughout Texas including Hospitals and the “big-box” Retailers. Fortunately for me, I’ve circled back to my roots and I am the Pharmacist-in-Charge at our independent, Sage Pharmacy. I’m here to offer counsel and connect with you! Chris received his Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and his Doctorate of Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. For the past 8 years, Chris has continued to focus on his passion of developing and compounding complex pharmaceutical medications within his state of the art Pharmacy Labs.
